How to perform at the Phoenix…

Initially your act should be established within a 25-mile radius of Cirencester and have not played at the Phoenix Festival in the last two years

Artists should provide a recent sample of music (preferably live, web based, footage) that is well rehearsed and of a standard suitable for the event (YouTube, Soundcloud etc)

The production committee limit the amount of acts in each genre so as not to have too many acts of a similar type.

We have three performance stages and will allocate slots accordingly for artists to an appropriate stage.

The production committee reserve the right to occasionally select special guests that do not necessarily meet the above criteria – these slots cannot be applied for.

The committee select two acts each from the Vaults Stage and the Let’s Play Music Stage for promotion to the larger stages to encourage musical development.

With the exception of invited Special Guests, all artists are expected to perform at no cost to the Phoenix Festival.

There is no entry charge to the festival. It is a charity event that is free for the public to enter and relies on the goodwill of volunteers who give their time for free.

Applications that meet the above criteria are put to members of our committee who assess the acts and create a shortlist and choose accordingly.

There may be many reasons why an act is or is not selected and it must be understood that it is a committee-based decision and that decision is final.

Successful applicants will be notified by email on or around the 14th July. You may find yourself on the main stage or one of the other stages.

If you understand the above then we would love to hear from you……..
